The full scale invasion of Ukraine changed a lot of discussions around peace in Europe. At this event in the context of the Munich Security Conference, we will discuss different aspects of this: " 'Never again' or 'Clash of Civilizations'?", "Trauma of communism and new faces of totalitarianism", "Fight for freedom, the wholeness of Europe, and democracy worldwide", "Between naïve pacifism and nuclear apocalypse: in search for 'Just peace' " and "Security versus justice?".
The event will host speakers with a variety of backgrounds from the United States, the EU and especially Ukraine. It is organized by the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (Munich), Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv) and the University of Notre Dame (USA).
